- Step 2: High-Scale Production and Purification – Initiated after analyzing the results of Step 1 and obtaining customer validation.
Step 1: Testing Recombinant Expression
Standard Protocol:
- Transformation of high-yield bacteria.
- Culture of bacteria under optimized conditions based on the required quantities.
- Induction of recombinant synthesis (5-hour kinetics).
- Affinity purification using specific resin.
- Analysis of recombinant solubility and production yield (optional).
Step 2: High-Scale Production & Purification
Standard Protocol:
- Scaling up bacterial cultures (conditions predefined in Step 1).
- Induction of recombinant synthesis.
- Preparation of bacterial lysates.
- Affinity purification using specific resin.
- Tag removal (optional, e.g., enzymatic cleavage of GST-Tag).
Note: Final recombinant protein quantity cannot be guaranteed.
